Carbon Footprint Project
The AWF can measure an organisations carbon footprint by using accreditation gained through the carbon trust for this purpose and then can deliver carbon offset programs through its plant a tree fund a dream programme. All of this can be achieved through working through the organisations employees if of value.

The Plant a Tree Fund a Dream initiative is hoping to make a real difference to children living in poverty, starting with those in our project bases. We promise to pay the education of these children if they plant and look after trees. This has a two in one effect, changing the lives of children by giving them opportunities whilst restoring lost habitats.
1000 pounds = 10000 trees and funds 100 children for one whole years education!!
The Carbon Trust is a not-for-profit company with the mission to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy. They provide specialist support to help business and the public sector cut carbon emissions, save energy and commercialise low carbon technologies. By stimulating low carbon action they contribute to key UK goals of lower carbon emissions, the development of low carbon businesses, increased energy security and associated jobs.
