What We Can Do

Firstly, we can fund children's education, both at primary and secondary level and, where possible, at university- both in their own countries and abroad.

Our tree planting programme allows them to 'earn' their education through protecting and supporting our shared environment. One thousand pounds funds 10,000 trees AND supports 100 children through 10 years of schooling in Sierra Leone!

Where there is no school, as with a number of our communities, we can build and resource one!!

Secondly, we can run educational programmes especially designed for children, be it language training, IT skills, the arts, music, sports or whatever. Each workshop allows for the possibility of a young life being inspired to dream and to follow that dream- and we will be on hand to help nurture and grow it.

Thirdly, we can support parents and communities in providing adequate facilities for young children to negate the pressures that lead to children being sold into slavery and exploited in the workplace.

Fourthly, we can provide necessary resources and knowledge to community based medical facilities to lessen the risk of early deaths.

Finally, we can work with parents to raise awareness of the shocking experiences of many millions of children around the world in a way that draws on their commitment to help provide a better world for all our children, their own included.
