Whale Watching in Tenerife

The AWF has worked with the whale watching boats of Tenerife for some twelve years. During this time they have enthusiastically supported thousands of young volunteers from all over Europe on our various research, educational and conservation programmes and initiatives. All the boats here provide valuable employment opportunties to local people many of whom used to work in the now dead fishing industry, and all of them committed to providing educational whale watching experiences that respect fully the whales and dolphins visited.
