What We Can Do
Most communities will have had a maternity unit built for them and there will be trained midwives and nurses available. What will be lacking is equipment, medicines and other resources together with funding for such as wages. With wages as low as one or two Euros per day these are not huge costs to cover.

We can put active and vibrant maternity units back into the hearts of these communities and work with local practitioners to implement systems ranging from contraceptive advice and supply post natal visits and education for young mothers. And it won't cost a fortune.
