We collaborate in a number of ways with the education sector:
The AWdF is, at heart, a network of educational collaboration providing experiential learning opportunities for students be they volunteering, work experience or internships.

2. Low cost of volunteering
Providing low cost volunteering opportunities for students with a strong experiential learning framework, to ensure development of soft skills as well as accumulation of knowledge and experience.

3. TES.
As a preferred partner of the TES the AWdF lesson plans on conservation issues have been downloaded hundreds of thousands of time. The current efforts are in building a strong portfolio of lesson plans on plastic pollution and in particular on the impact on the marine environment. All lessons emphasise strongly the actions that can be taken by individuals or communities.

AWdF has organised and delivered field trips, and educational group programmes for 30 years.

5. EU funded programme
The AWDF has successful run funded work experience programmes through Erasmus with it's educational partnership for 10 years or so. There is no reason to doubt that the Erasmus programme will continue into the future.
