group volunteering

Picture
We’ve supported hundreds of groups to have meaningful experiences on our projects. These groups have come from a wide range of schools, universities, scout troops, Duke of Edinburgh Award participants and other groups - from all across Europe.

Our team of group volunteering experts has worked with groups to design student led experiences, alternative break trips, activity breaks and learning itineraries that enable cross-cultural learning and help to develop important career competencies as well as facilitate incredible experiences. Many of these group trips have also resulted in students gaining university credit for their time volunteering abroad as a group.

AWdF volunteer programmes are responsibly run and make a sustainable contribution. Each of our programmes maintain high standards of volunteer health, safety and security, and we provide a wide range of value-add services to ensure AWdF volunteers are supported to make the most of the time they spend abroad.
